1 - The following Rules Of Conduct must be adhered to by all MBABC Members:
I WILL CONDUCT MYSELF AT ALL TIMES IN A MANNER BEFITTING A MASTER BOWLER AND I WILL ACTIVELY SUPPORT THE MASTER BOWLERS ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA RULES AND REGULATIONS. I WILL NOT DO OR SAY ANYTHING THAT WILL BRING DISCREDIT TO THE SPORT OF FIVE PIN BOWLING
2 - Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated during any tournament.
3 - The use of obscene language, body gestures, verbal abuse or misuse of personal or proprietor's bowling equipment will not be tolerated.
4 - The consumption of alcohol or the use of non-medical drugs just prior to or during a tournament will not be tolerated.
5 - Bowlers must wear their uniforms for all Tournament play. The Masters uniform comprises of a shirt with black dress pants for the Men and black dress slacks or skirts/skorts for the Ladies. The Tournament Director may provide an exception to this rule providing prior permission is requested and approved by the Tournament Director. The Judge of Play and/or the Tournament Director will bring to the attention of the bowler if his/her dress is inappropriate. The rule applies whenever you wear your uniform. A plain black short sleeve garment may be worn under the shirt if necessary but the sleeve length must not extend beyond the length of the Master's shirt.
6 - Smoking is not permitted in the playing area during any tournament. Members will adhere to all smoking regulations of the host bowling centre.
7 - The breaking of any of the above rules could result in ejection from any tournament and/or suspension.
8 - Any valid suspension of a member by any Bowling Organization for misconduct, upon receipt of written documentation, will be considered by the Master Bowlers Association of British Columbia if found to be valid.
9 - Members have the right to appear before the Board of Directors and/or appeal (in writing) their suspension.
Conduct Committee MBABC CONDUCT LOG
1 - A log will be kept of all conduct offences and will be carried forward from tournament to tournament.
2 - Penalties will be assessed as follows:
(A) First Offence - a verbal warning from the Judge of Play or the acting Tournament Director
(B) Additional Offences - Any additional offences after the first offence will be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors of the Master Bowlers Association of B.C. and may result in more serious disciplinary actions.
3 - Any Member who is penalized has the right to appeal in writing to the Board of Directors or may appear before the Board in person.
