1 - Members must be 19 years of age or older in the current bowling year and not a member of the Youth Bowling Council Program.
2 - All members must have completed either the original Master Bowlers Instructors Course or the Canadian 5 Pin Bowling Association Level 1 Technical Course within the first year, with the exception of the Tournament Division. The bowling year is from September 1 to August 31st. (see separate division rules for specific details.
3 - All members must have their Membership Application signed by their bowling centre Proprietor, Manager, YBC Program Director or by a member of the Board of Directors of the Master Bowlers Association of British Columbia that they are actively engaged in providing bowling instruction and/or involved in the betterment of the game of five pin bowling, with the exception of the Tournament & Senior Division.
4 - It is mandatory for ALL members to purchase a Canadian 5 Pin Bowlers Association Membership Card which is separate from your Membership Fee.
5 - Members dues for each division shall be designated by the Board of Directors of the Master Bowlers Association of British Columbia in the following divisions. Teaching, Tournament, Senior, Associate, 1st time Members & Life members (25 years or more)
6 - Single Membership Fee allows a member to participate in all divisions as long as they meet the requirements and pay the applicable fees.
7 - A one(1) year FREE Membership is available to all graduating YBC members and/or any new adult members.
8 - Associate Membership is available for any member who wishes to receive information from the Master Bowlers Association of British Columbia, but does not want to actively participate.
9 - Years of Membership in the MBA of BC is determined by the total number of years participating, teaching and / or as an Associate member.
10 - Members will have full voting privileges at the Annual General Meetings providing they are a member in good standing.
